After a trip to the Philippines in 1997, God
gave me a deep desire to serve the forgotten children of the world.
I've been privileged to serve with teams that offered food,
clothing, times of worship and bible stories to impoverished
kids.
In addition to these expressions of God's love, I believe an education is a meaningful way to stop the cycle of poverty that's gripped many of their families for generations. In doing this we can help them fulfill the calling God has on their lives!
The Break Through Scholarship Fund, established in partnership with Far East Broadcasting Company, is designed to offer hope to children living in extreme poverty.

This year we have 58 Break Through Scholars in
both public and private schools, and 2 young women in college--at
an average cost of $600 per student.
Each Break Through Scholarship provides tuition, books, supplies, uniforms, five meals a week, transportation, and tutoring as needed.
